More about Emily Rosenfeld

Emily started making her own jewelry in 1991 in Oakland, CA, running her business out of a Murphy bed closet. Now settled in Western Massachusetts, with a view of birch trees and a river she swims in during the summer, her studio is in a converted factory building filled with other artists. She feels continually inspired to develop new designs and play with new materials and techniques.

She is privileged and thankful to be part of the immensely supportive and loving community of craftspeople and crafts buyers. Making her work makes her very happy and she hopes owning it brings a measure of joy as well.

Love it buuuttt…

Love it, but didn’t read it’s only 7 1/2” long. I can’t get it around my wrist. I tried giving it as a gift and no one can get it around their wrist either. It’s gorgeous. Everyone loves the pictures of it. But I just can’t get it to fit. I don’t have large wrists, but it looks like I’d need at least 8 1/2-9”.

Hi John,

Thank you so much for your kind words and review, it is truly appreciated. We are sorry to hear the bracelet does not fit. If there is anything we can do to help, please email as at shalom@moderntribe.com. Have a wonderful day!

A great bracelet—for men too

I find the meaning in this phrase more significant than ever, so I ordered this nicely designed and subtle bracelet. It arrived quickly, but was sized for a much smaller wrist. I wrote Modern Tribe who allowed me to return it after they contacted the artist who was able to make the same bracelet with a longer leather cable. I hope in the future they offer bracelet length options in styles that appeal to both sexes.

Hi David,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review for the Tikkun Olam Bracelet by Emily Rosenfeld. We are so glad to hear that you love the meaning behind the phrase and the design of the bracelet. We apologize for the sizing issue, but we are happy to hear that our customer service team was able to assist you in getting a longer leather cable. We will definitely take your suggestion into consideration for the future.

Have a great day!

Love this piece!

I bought 4. One for me and 3 other friends. We are all AlchemE Mentors and guide people toward repair of the world. This is a perfect reminder for our mission. Now one of the women I gave it too is buying 4 more to gift to others. Together we are working toward Tikun Olam. Thank you for creating this bracelet reminder. I never take it off.
