- Tallitot and embroidered Judaica
ZionTalis has been making tallitot for Jewish communities since 1920. Founder Samuel Yaroslawitz emigrated from Poland that year to New York's Lower East Side and began manufacturing, importing and exporting Judaica between New York and Israel. His son Martin joined early and built on that foundation, and the family business is now in its third and fourth generations.
The company designs and manufactures tallitot, bags and accessories meant to become heirlooms, and its embroidery department makes atarot, tallit bags, Torah covers and ark curtains. The tallitot at ModernTribe are made in Israel in styles like Ariel, Shvotim and Jerusalem stripes, paisley prints and Israsilk sets, in polyester, cotton and silk.
