Richard L. Simon and M. Lincoln Schuster built their New York house into a publishing giant, acquired by investment firm KKR in 2023. Its children's list spans imprints like Little Simon, Aladdin, Atheneum and Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers. On ModernTribe's shelf that includes David A. Carter's Chanukah Bugs, a Little Simon pop-up book with a bug for every part of the holiday. For the seder there's A Passover Haggadah with commentary by Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel and line drawings by his friend Mark Podwal.
