Description
The infinite nature of this 2-piece slip-cast Stoneware Seder Plate reminds us of the circle of life, a principle central to the practice of observing Passover. When used together, the two distinctive pieces of this set manifest the order in which Seder rituals are observed, with the upper loop framing the charger’s embossed “Pesach” text in a subtle Star of David frame. When used separately, the glazed upper becomes a functional centerpiece in any dinner table expression.

- Modernist Judaica design
Via Maris is modernist Judaica founded by Dana Hollar Schwartz with designer Jamie Wolfond. The New York brand started from a simple observation: it was nearly impossible to find Jewish objects designed in the Modernist tradition.
The name means "way of the sea," after an ancient trade route. The look applies Bauhaus principles to ritual objects, with clean forms and quiet color names like Cloud, Clay, Sand and Midnight. The range covers menorahs, mezuzahs, kiddush cups, seder plates and Shabbat and Chanukah candles. Via Maris gives 1% of annual sales to charity, and its kosher mezuzah scrolls are handmade in Israel by female soferot (scribes).
