Description
Our handmade Pickle Menorah is kind of a big dill! (Get it?) So realistic, you'll try to serve it with your pastrami on rye. The first Pickle Menorah of its kind, it's exclusive to ModernTribe. Handcrafted of solid aluminum with a non-slip bottom, it's as high-quality as it is dill-ightful. It even comes with a coordinating gift box, making the Pickle Menorah the perfect gift!
Our Pickle Menorah is more than just a menorah — it’s a story of creativity, culture, and craftsmanship. Each piece is lovingly handmade by skilled artisans in India, transforming premium materials into a whimsical yet meaningful work of art.
Pickles are as Jewish as, well, a menorah! And ModernTribe owner Amy Kritzer Becker noticed there were tons of other food menorahs out there but no pickle. And she decided to change that. The Pickle Menorah is here, just in time for Hanukkah!
With its playful pickle design, it brings a touch of humor, joy, and originality to your Hanukkah celebration, while honoring the artistry of traditional craftsmanship.

The Journey of Your Pickle Menorah
- Casting: Molten aluminum is carefully poured into handcrafted molds to form the base shape.
- Polishing: Each menorah is hand-polished to create a smooth, refined surface.
- Powder coating: A durable coating is applied, providing one of the strongest finishes in the menorah industry.
- Color Finishing: The vibrant pickle hue is hand-applied by our artisans to bring it to life.
- Lacquering: A protective sealant is applied to preserve the color and shine for years to come.
- Oven drying: The menorah is gently oven-dried to ensure the lacquer and color set perfectly.
- Hand packaging: Finally, each menorah is packed by hand in a custom box — ready to brighten your celebrations.
- Every step in this journey reflects patience and passion — making our Pickle Menorah not just a product, but a heartfelt piece of art.

Amy Kritzer Becker is the cook behind What Jew Wanna Eat and co-owner of ModernTribe, which she runs with her brother. She left a corporate job to train as a chef at Le Cordon Bleu in Austin, has written about modern Jewish food since 2011, and is the author of the dessert cookbook Sweet Noshings. She appeared on an episode of Guy's Grocery Games, and her recipes have been featured on Food Network, The Drew Barrymore Show and Good Morning America, and in The New York Times.
She has a soft spot for rainbow sprinkles and her Bubbe Eleanor's brisket, and the same playful streak runs through the pieces she designs for the shop. The Handmade Pickle Menorah exists because she noticed there were plenty of food menorahs but no pickle, so she made one. The Gold Floral Lily Menorah is her tribute to the white lily. She also designs Hanukkah pajamas, from the bamboo Many Menorahs sets to Light and Latkes, sized for adults, kids, babies and even the dog, plus the Spreading Holiday Schmear sweater made with Tipsy Elves.
