Description

The O Washing Cup | Vase is a sculpture featuring Uvtuvo's characteristic purity of form whose minimal O shape is representative of perfection and reminds us of the continuity of life and rejuvenation.

The iconic O Washing Cup | Vase is a netilat yadayim washing vessel that can also be used as a striking bud vase. It stands ready for washing use on your countertop, or on display in your home as a sculpture with or without flowers.

Used for washing, the O Jewish Washing Cup | Vase complies fully with halachic requirements for netilat yadayim. Compared with standard washing cups, it provides a comfortable washing experience, remaining ergonomically balanced in your hands as you pour back and forth from each of its pouring holes, with no need to re-position it in your hands as you complete netilat yadayim.

About the brand

Uvtuvo

Uvtuvo, Hebrew for "in His goodness," is a Judaica studio run by brothers David and Steven Orlansky, maker of the swappable-cover Mood Mezuzah.

Craft
Modern Judaica design

Uvtuvo takes its name from the Hebrew for "in His goodness," and its aim is modern Judaic art for daily living. David Orlansky founded the studio to pursue beautiful home decor and Judaica design, and his brother Steven joined him. David is a designer, artist and musician who manages design, development and marketing. Steven is an architect and product designer with over 20 years of experience, whose cast aluminum Hover Grommet won an international design competition in 2003.

That pairing shows in pieces with a pure, minimal form. The Mood Mezuzah lets you swap its cover to suit your style. The O Washing Cup doubles as a vase, the Elevate Kiddush Set has a tray that seems to hover above the table, and the Aura Candleholder Set has symmetrical halves that face each other.
