- Not for use as a trivet; do not place hot dishes or cookware on top of your beaded items.
- Shake off any crumbs or food residue, then brush softly with a toothbrush. If necessary, use a mild cleanser for deeper cleaning, but be sure to air dry completely before storing. Do not use a hair dryer for drying, as beads and sequins could melt with high heat.
- If beaded table runners or placemats curl up on edges, flatten with a heavy book, or curl them in the opposite direction momentarily and then lay flat.
- Our hand beaded designs are delicate and unique. Treat them gently and follow our care instructions to keep them fresh and festive for all the occasions to come!
- Beads, sequins, and other embellishments may break or fall off your item even with gentle use, be sure to store carefully to avoid snags and damage.

Adara Rituals started with a search that came up empty. Tara Townsend, a Wharton graduate and the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, went looking for Hanukkah decor that was festive, beautiful and meaningful, and couldn't find it. So she created it, and named the company for her daughter's Hebrew name, Adara. She wanted pieces that felt like they were "carrying the light of the Jewish people forward."
Each item has its own making story: hand-beaded pieces from a female-owned artisan workshop in India, metalwork etched and forged with centuries-old tools and techniques, textiles knit in small batches by a family mill, and candles poured by hand. Alongside the objects, the brand offers updated blessings and ritual guides written in the language of the Divine Feminine.
The range runs from beaded garlands, ornaments and placemats to Star of David throw blankets, candleholders and Jewish-themed scented candles.
