Description

Why are these pajamas different from all other pajamas? Show off your kiddo’s love of the unleavened Passover staple with these adorable, comfy Matzah Pajamas! Perfect to wear for those long seder dinners and cute enough to wear long after the holiday is over. Sleepy kids can go right from the seder table to bed, and you’re back in time for an encore of Chad Gadya.

Designed by Rabbi Yael Buechler of Midrash Manicures, these Matzah Pajamas are 100% cotton and available in children’s sizes 2T to 10 years. They runs small so consider ordering one size up.

One Passover, when Rabbi Yael dressed her two-year-old son in a pair of yellow pajamas for the seder, he immediately referred to them as his “matzah pajamas” and giddily wore them every chance he got. Since then, she has been on a mission to make matzah pajamas that kiddos everywhere can happily enjoy. That mission is now a reality, and matzah pajamas are available just in time for Passover.

Jewish nail art and apparel

Rabbi Yael Buechler has painted her nails to match the weekly Torah portion every week since 1996. In 2011 she launched Midrash Manicures around that practice, named for midrash, the ancient rabbinic method of interpreting the Hebrew Bible, with the aim of making Judaism both meaningful and modern through creativity.

Her Hanukkah nail decals were sold at Bloomingdale's and Dylan's Candy Bar, and her Torah-and-manicure workshops traveled to camps, schools and college campuses. A Conservative rabbi who studied at the Jewish Theological Seminary, she also taught a Midrash Manicures class at a Jewish day school in Westchester, New York.

The line has since grown into Jewish holiday pajamas for adults, kids and babies, plus socks, cardigans, scrunchies, afikomen bags and even pet bandanas, all built around the Jewish calendar. Her work has been featured in The New York Times and has caught the attention of Jon Stewart and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
