Klatso is a Colombian home decor brand that works with artisans, mainly women, to hand weave tabletop and home pieces from iraca palm and other locally sourced natural fibers. The brand says its aim is to keep Colombia's ancient weaving techniques in use and to pay its artisans fair wages in safe working conditions, so the work helps support their families.
The napkin ring at ModernTribe weaves a six-pointed star right into the ring, in blue against a white center, for Shabbat dinner or a holiday table. Because each ring is woven by hand, no two come out exactly alike.
