Shalom from Your New ModernTribe Owners!

Shalom! My name is Amy Kritzer and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as the new owner of ModernTribe (with my brother Andrew by my side).

This is not my first venture into a modern Jewish business. After starting my food blog What Jew Wanna Eat in 2010, with recipes such as Bourbon and Coffee Braised Brisket and Black and White Cookie Cheesecake, and writing a modern Jewish desserts cookbook this year, my passion for making Judaism fun and approachable for everyone continued to grow.

Like you, I've been a fan of ModernTribe for years, and it became my go-to source for creative Jewish gifts for friends and family (and myself!) So when I saw that it was for sale, I jumped at the chance to be owner. Because what is a delicious Seder meal without a gorgeous Seder plate? I want to take what I have been doing with Jewish food for years and build on what Jennie has done for cool Jewish products.

Get excited for tons of fun new products, giveaways, and ambassador opportunities.

Please email me at amy@moderntribe.com or ping me on Twitter. I'd love to hear from you!

Hugs + Knishes,
Amy

Dear ModernTribe Customers,

In June, I reached out to the ModernTribe community hoping to find a new owner that would be a great steward of the brand.  I was also hoping to find someone with passion, energy and ideas so that ModernTribe can grow to contribute even more to Judaism and Jewish culture.

I'm overjoyed to have found Amy Kritzer (and her brother, Andrew). Some of you will certainly already know Amy through her Jewish cooking blog What Jew Wanna Eat

The combination of modern Jewish recipes + modern Judaica is a winner. Both help us create Jewish lives that are meaningful and relevant. Both help us express and share our Jewish lives with friends and family.

Please welcome Amy and stay tuned to the many new products coming to ModernTribe this fall.

Love & Shalom,

Your (former) Shopkeeper,

Jennie Rivlin Roberts
