Damhorst Toys

Damhorst Toys is a family-owned company that started when Don and Carol Damhorst started making unique handmade wooden puzzles in 1971 for their children. They observed how these puzzles taught them perception, problem solving and patience. It wasn't long before friends started asking them to make the same toys for their children and a short while later, they started selling their toys and puzzles in St. Louis specialty shops.

In February of 1998, they moved the business from their home to a larger shop in Hermann, Missouri, and in 2004 their children took over the business. They are dedicated to keeping and maintaining the high standard of quality and craftsmanship started by their parents.
