Lighting the candles along with teaching my daughters the prayers.
My favorite tradition is having themed nights for gifts so every kid gets the same type of gift.
Our family’s favorite tradition is to pick a night where none of our kids receive gifts but instead, give their own gifts to charity and children in need. It has taught them one of the most important ideas: Tikkun Olam. They actually use their own money saved up and go out and purchase a gift and drop it off to a local collection. It has established a sense of giving at an early age with them and they look forward to it each year.
The best part is being with my family & I am now close by to my family.
