Great gifts!
I can never have enough Hanukkah decorations! Gotta keep up with the Christmas decor. This will definitely put me over the top in the neighborhood
Favorite holiday is Hannakuh because it is full of joy, generosity, and love!
My favorite Jewish tradition is Tikkun Olam, because healing the world is the most important thing to me about being Jewish, and the part of my religion that I’m most proud of. My next favorite tradition is the cup of wine for Elijah, and opening the door for him at Passover. As a child, I always thought I could see the level in the glass go down over the course of the evening, and when opening the door, the world was suddenly filled with a sense of awe and possibility of something beyond what we can see in everyday life. These days, since I don’t drink, I leave Elijah a cup of grape juice, which I imagine he would find refreshing since he must be hammered after taking a sip of wine in every other Jewish home! But it still brings that same sense of wonder, of newness and possibility. And as for just fun traditions, I love latkes for Chanukah. And decorating in my own quirky way…Wishing everyone every joy!
This would go beautifully next to our 7’ tall yard hanukkiah
