Description
The love affair between Jews and Baseball goes back to the early part of the 20th century. It is beautifully chronicled in such movies as “Jews and Baseball: An American Love Story” and “The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg.”
This unique Pro Baseball Bat Menorah was created for the true fan of the game, by a true fan of the game. This is the perfect gift for the baseball fanatic in your life.
This Menorah is handmade, using a professional baseball used in a game or practice as the Shamash and a miniature wooden bat to hold each of the 8 candle holders. Indicate your team to get a team souvenir ball, (not game/practice ball) as the Shamash ball instead.
Your Menorah is 24" x 4" x 4" and weighs 2.5 pounds.
Menorahs are custom made, so please allow 10 days for delivery.
Do not leave any lit menorahs unattended. Keep lit menorahs away from children. Avoid burning in drafts; place on a heat-resistant level surface. This menorah is for display and to be used as decor. Use with wax candles at your own risk. Oil candles recommended.

- Handmade baseball Judaica
Baseballidays is the work of Gregg Garfinkel, a Woodland Hills, California, attorney who turns real baseballs into art. The Judaica began with a little math: a menorah has nine branches, and a baseball game has nine innings.
It started with a fundraiser. His sons played high school baseball, and the team sold Christmas trees each holiday season. On a whim, Garfinkel made a wreath from the extra baseballs around the house, posted it on Facebook and sold it for $100. Baseball trees, snowmen and wreaths followed, but he wanted something his own family could use, so he added baseball Judaica.
Everything is handmade. His Pro Baseball Bat Menorah uses a professional baseball from a game or practice as the shamash, with a miniature wooden bat under each candle holder. There's also a colored-bat menorah, a seder plate on a home-plate base, Star of David keychains stitched from deconstructed baseballs, and a hockey menorah made with real pucks. A memorable commission: two menorahs for Rob Rosen, son of 1953 MVP Al Rosen, made from commemorative bats issued in his father's name.
