Naturally Wood items are handcrafted wood creations made from a mix of exotic and domestic hardwoods. The Wooden Block Name Menorah is made from real Melissa & Doug blocks, therefore the child's name will only be on one side of the menorah; the other side will be random letters. They are handmade just for you, so variations in the wood may occur. Each menorah is signed by the artist. Unfortunately, we cannot customize colors or block images. Each wooden menorah is unique. Do not leave any lit menorahs unattended. Keep lit menorahs away from children. Avoid burning in drafts; place on a heat-resistant level surface. This menorah is for display and to be used as decor. Use with candles at your own risk.
To clean this best selling menorah, you have a few options! Works best with drip-free candles. You can store the candles in the freezer and only take out the ones you need each night. That helps with dripping. After the holiday you can put the menorah in the freezer for about 15 minutes then with a credit card scrape the wax off, try and not gouge the wood. Some people put a small piece of foil in the cup to catch the wax as a preventative measure too.

Gary Markow has been working in wood for more than thirty years. After studying at the New York Institute of Technology, he turned his woodworking passion into a full-time career, and in 1990 he opened his first studio, making wooden bowls on a lathe. His work turned toward Judaica built from domestic and exotic hardwoods, and his adjustable menorah and challah boards became his most popular pieces.
At ModernTribe you'll find his challah boards, each inscribed with the hamotzi, the blessing over bread. Every board is pieced together from local and exotic woods, so no two look alike, and each one is made to order. One version adds a glass cup and a stainless steel cup for salt or honey.
