    About the brand

    SIND Studio

    Handmade porcelain

Nadya and Dima Gurevich studied ceramics at different universities in Jerusalem and founded SIND Studio in 2013, before either had finished their degree. Dima is the ceramic artist of the pair and Nadya is a product designer, and they sum up their style in three words: minimal, elegant, humorous.

The humor is easy to spot. SIND is known for porcelain cups and mugs with sculpted faces, and Tel Aviv bars Bellboy and Fantastic have served drinks in their cups. In 2022 the studio won an Etsy Award in the Kitchen and Dining category.

Their Judaica is quieter. The pink-and-white seder plate at ModernTribe is lead-free porcelain with six small dishes trimmed in genuine gold for the symbolic foods. Each one is made by hand, so the pattern shifts slightly from plate to plate. The studio began in Tel Aviv and is now based in Vancouver, Canada.
