More about KG Custom Mosaics
Artist Karen Gordon's journey with mosaics began when her daughter Sydney developed an interest in the craft as a young girl. While Sydney's passions moved elsewhere, her interest in mosaic art deepened. Karen's workspace consisted of a small desk tucked away in a basement closet with some nippers and glue. She has since outgrown that space and have taken over the entire basement - creating a fully functioning artist studio, equipped with grinders, saws, gadgets, tools, and an abundance of glass and other supplies. Over the years, she has expanded into other media, including resin art, creating memorable keepsakes from the glass smashed under the chuppah at Jewish weddings, making one of a kind pieces from heirloom china and delicately preserving flowers from your special occasion.
After retiring from a 30-year teaching career, she can now dedicate more time to her passion and sharing her love of creating beautiful artwork.
