Oneg takes its name from oneg Shabbat, the delight of the day of rest. Founder Jeanie Milbauer, a lawyer by training and the co-founder and founding president of the women's organization Momentum Unlimited, found most Shabbat materials "complex, uninviting or overly prescriptive" when she was raising her children and looking to celebrate. It inspired her to create a simpler path.
Oneg pairs beautiful, contemporary tools with guidebooks and tips so celebrating Shabbat feels accessible, without any pressure.
