Do not put in the dishwasher. Run tray under warm water to remove wax and wipe clean with a dry towel. Do not scrub the back of the drip tray.

Turns out the tray is clear glass, not white, but that was more of a surprise than any kind of issue. It looks much better and is more environmentally friendly than the sad piece of aluminum foil it replaced.
