Description
Hand-painted pomegranates, blossoms and gold leaf scatter across a clear Lucite base, with "Shana Tova" (שנה טובה) lettering in raised gold at the center. Built-in wells hold each of the simanim - apple, honey, dates, pomegranate and the rest of the symbolic foods - while raised gold feet lift the tray off the table for a dimensional, gallery-worthy presence. A matching honey dish and metal spoon is included, and the whole set wipes clean in seconds, which counts for a lot when honey is involved.

Waterdale's founder, Rivka, came from print and packaging design and saw a gap in the market: Judaica tended to be either traditional and ornate or mass-produced and generic. She set out to make modern Judaica that feels at home in a contemporary house while still honoring the meaning of Jewish ritual.
The main material is Lucite, a premium acrylic that is clearer, sturdier and noticeably heavier than standard acrylic. A resin line adds warmth and a natural stone look. Collections run from Butterfly and Cherry Blossom to Marble, Agate and French Toile.
