Glass holiday ornaments

Cody Foster & Co. is a wholesale holiday décor company in Valentine, Nebraska, known for quirky, vintage-inspired glass ornaments. Cody Foster grew up there, learned from a crafter grandmother, and sold handmade pieces at craft fairs in high school. Instead of college he started a wholesale business in 1993, Backporch Friends American Folk Art, renamed Cody Foster & Co. in 2005.

As the line grew, Foster focused on design and worked with small artisan groups abroad to produce it. "I like quirky," he told the Omaha World-Herald. ModernTribe carries the Jewish side of that sense of humor: glass challah, bagels with lox, black and white cookies, kosher dills, plates of latkes, matzo ball soup, a corned beef sandwich and mahjong tiles.
