Description
Part craft, part sparkle, entirely absorbing. Kids press tiny faceted gems onto numbered outlines with a wax-tipped stylus, and a menorah, a dreidel or a jelly donut slowly turns into something that catches the light. Peel the finished sticker off its backing and it can go on a notebook, a window, a water bottle or a Hanukkah card. The kit makes twelve, so there is enough to keep a table of kids busy and still have a few left to give away.
- Makes 12 stickers in 6 assorted designs, 2 of each: menorah, wrapped gift, gelt coin, sufganiyah and two dreidels
- Includes 7 packages of colored gems, 1 stylus, 1 wax square, 1 gem tray and step-by-step instructions
- Peel-and-stick backing, no glue needed
- 8.85" x 9" carded package
- Ages 6+
- Warning: choking hazard, small parts. Not for children under 3 years.

Rite Lite began in Brooklyn in 1949. Jacob Rosenthal and his wife, Miriam, came to America after the Holocaust, and when he tried to return to work as a lumber merchant, he found the trade closed to anyone who wouldn't work on Saturdays. "Giving up the Sabbath was out of the question for us," Miriam recalled.
His way in was a European novelty: a spring-loaded metal candleholder, later called the "Rite Lite." He took the idea to Murray Zuckerman's Lower East Side menorah workshop, and the two started out with that candleholder and a handful of menorahs.
Today the catalog covers nearly every holiday, from menorahs, candles and dreidels to kids' pajamas, slipper socks, crafts, decorations and pet toys.
