Description
An artistic interpretation of the Hebrew word "Chai" (life), this candle holder transforms the yud into a soul flame, sheltered within a moon-etched chet. Crafted from gold powder-coated stainless steel, it measures 5" x 5.75" and accommodates both glass and tin 24-hour yahrzeit candles. This design embodies the enduring Jewish spirit, the passage of time, and the sanctity of life. When illuminated by candlelight, it serves as a visual meditation, deepening the connection to memory and tradition.
Do not leave any lit candles unattended.

- Hand-beaded holiday decor
Adara Rituals started with a search that came up empty. Tara Townsend, a Wharton graduate and the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, went looking for Hanukkah decor that was festive, beautiful and meaningful, and couldn't find it. So she created it, and named the company for her daughter's Hebrew name, Adara. She wanted pieces that felt like they were "carrying the light of the Jewish people forward."
Each item has its own making story: hand-beaded pieces from a female-owned artisan workshop in India, metalwork etched and forged with centuries-old tools and techniques, textiles knit in small batches by a family mill, and candles poured by hand. Alongside the objects, the brand offers updated blessings and ritual guides written in the language of the Divine Feminine.
The range runs from beaded garlands, ornaments and placemats to Star of David throw blankets, candleholders and Jewish-themed scented candles.
