Sierra Yaun founded the boutique floral house Poppies & Posies in 2008, designing wedding flowers in New York's Hudson Valley, and in 2018 she started The Floral Society to put a florist's tools and taste in more hands. The motto: "Designed by florists, made for everyone." The collection covers candles, vases, garden tools and tabletop pieces, plus goods from makers the team admires. The studio sits in a historic building just off the Hudson River, and the shop at 161 Main Street in Beacon, New York, offers visitors a complimentary cup of tea.
