More about The Rabbi's Wife
The Rabbi's Wife Shop began in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, when the world felt uncertain and artist Jill found herself craving more beauty, connection, humor, and Jewish joy.
But the real story started before the shop. When she first met my husband, he told me he was a "professional NJB." She quickly found out that meant he was a rabbi. They dated in Los Angeles, where their relationship grew alongside a deep love of Jewish life, community, Shabbat tables, holidays, and the kind of meaningful conversations that happen when people feel truly welcomed. From there, they moved together to a new congregation, got engaged, got married, had three beautiful daughters, and opened their hearts and family to a fourth daughter along the way.
Somewhere in the middle of all of that, The Rabbi's Wife Shop came to life. "I care deeply about social justice, social action, community building, and helping people feel that Judaism is not something far away or intimidating. It can be warm. It can be beautiful. It can be funny. It can be stylish." Jill have always loved the parts of Jewish life that bring people closer together. The matchmaking, the hosting, the gentle nudging, the "come for Shabbat," the "you belong here," and the belief that Judaism can be found in almost every moment.
Jill cares deeply about social justice, social action, community building, and helping people feel that Judaism is not something far away or intimidating. It can be warm. It can be beautiful. It can be funny. It can be stylish. It can be deeply meaningful and still feel completely alive. The Rabbi's Wife Shop was created for people who want Jewish life to feel personal, thoughtful, and full of personality. It is for Shabbat tables, holiday gifts, new homes, hostesses, weddings, conversions, milestones, inside jokes, proud Jewish moments, and the beautiful everyday rituals that deserve to be celebrated.
Every piece is designed with the same spirit that inspired the shop from the beginning: rooted in tradition, made for modern Jewish homes, and created to bring more warmth, color, meaning, and joy into the moments we share. Welcome to The Rabbi's Wife Shop.
