- Modern ceramic and glass Judaica
Tchotchke makes Judaica with a wink. When Adam and Anna Paskow got married, they searched for Jewish objects that fit their style and the life they were building, and nothing felt quite like them. Adam, an industrial designer, set out to design his own. That spark became three original menorah designs and, in 2022, the founding of Tchotchke. As their family grew with two sons, Anna, a brand strategist, joined to build the brand.
The name is the Yiddish word for a trinket or small treasure, something that sparks joy. The Paskows liked reclaiming it for ritual objects that have historically leaned formal or ornate, and they sum up the goal as "Better Jewish Things": modern heirlooms rooted in tradition, made with beauty, humor and heart.
The line spans slip-cast ceramic and aluminum mezuzahs, glass and ceramic kiddush cups and candlesticks, stoneware menorahs handcrafted in Colombia and Portugal, smash glasses, and made-to-order ketubahs commissioned from independent artists around the world and printed on archival fine-art paper. You'll also find Tchotchke at The Jewish Museum shop in New York.
