Handmade Jewish jewelry

Edie's Art Shop is the handmade Jewish jewelry line of Edith Barabash, who founded it in 2022 with a single item: a pair of challah earrings. At the time she was working as a lawyer on the west coast of Canada, in a city with a very small Jewish population, and she began making art and jewelry to showcase the beautiful parts of Jewish culture.

Those first earrings set the tone: Jewish pride worn in a way that is bold, fun and a little delicious. Her foodie pieces are sculpted to look good enough to eat, from bagels with schmear and babka slices to sufganiyot and hamantaschen. Alongside them are Stars of David, hamsas and chai pendants in hand-sculpted spring florals, sky-blue "Shamayim" pieces, and hand-painted pomegranates, one of the Seven Species. Every piece is handmade in Canada, with the hope that whoever wears it feels a little more pride in being a member of the tribe.
