Description

The Savannah Bee Artisanal Honey Sampler Gift Set features 3 oz each of some of the most popular honey varieties. Set includes 3 oz. honey samples of
Acacia Honey, Orange Blossom Honey, and Lavender Honey.

Sometimes referred to as Moonflower honey or Water honey, Acacia honey comes from the Piedmont region of Northern Italy, bordering France and Switzerland. The clean, light vanilla taste is perfection on the palate. This single-varietal gem is made from the delicate blossoms of the Acacia tree. One taste of this fine honey, and you will be an Acacia lover forever! Acacia honey is very rare and dependent on a variety of climatic conditions.

Orange Blossom Honey explodes with bold sweetness and a subtle citrus flavor! Floral, fruity, and incredibly aromatic, this sunshine-soaked Florida orange grove honey is perfect baked into Baklava or drizzled over buttery French toast. Try Orange Blossom Honey as a dip for fresh figs, strawberries, and melon.

Lavender Honey is among the most prized varietals of honey. We source our wild lavender honey from the remote mountains of Southern Spain, where the bees harvest nectar from the most beautiful Lavandula stoechas luisieri every year during late spring and early summer. This premium international honey has a faint, floral aroma, and a subtle fruity finish, that is more delicate than other monofloral varietals. Its light color, slightly purple hue, and gentle flavor notes make it particularly complementary in mild tea and as a sugar substitute in baking.

KSA Kosher Certified.

More about Savannah Bee Company

Ted Dennard is the founder, president and head beekeeper of Savannah Bee Company. Growing up in Coastal Georgia, Ted’s journey into the magical world of bees and honey was sparked by an elderly beekeeper, Roy Hightower, who believed in beekeeping as a way of life. Ted’s passion hasn’t waned a bit, even after 35 years. Ted backed into business in 1999 when his friend opened a store in Savannah and began selling his Tupelo Honey. Three years later, Savannah Bee Company was officially born. Today, Ted remains dedicated to sharing the world of bees with others and introducing new honeybee products to market. He loves his family and surfs when he can.
