Barbara Shaw's passion is to artistically present Israel and her Jewish roots in a fresh, creative, and fun way. She loves fusing the ancient with the contemporary. She likes her ranges to have an international feel, yet with a look that says it could only have been produced in Israel.

Barbara grew up in Sydney, Australia and came to Israel in 1986. After searching for gifts and not finding what she wanted, she decided to produce her own. She saw a gap in the market for bold, well designed and packaged gifts; items that are practical and beautiful.

All products are made ethically in her workshop in Jerusalem. Her aim is to touch people's hearts and strike a chord with their heritage and family background.

Perfect T-shirt for that Special Dad

I was so excited to see this t-shirt on Modern Tribe, so I could purchase it as a Father’s Day gift for my wonderful son-in-law, who happens to be a rabbi (is it okay to kvell in a review?). This is a high quality t-shirt made of heavy weight material with beautiful printing. It is also made in Israel, which is very important to me. This product is consistent with Modern Tribe’s practice of carrying very high quality, “off the beaten path” Judaica that can’t be found on other websites. I highly recommend purchasing the Abba Sababa t-shirt for a special dad in your life.

Cool t-shirt, runs small

The t-shirt is nicely made and the fabric is very soft. but the shirt runs pretty small so I would suggest ordering a size up.
