These pants exceeded my expectations! They are a lightweight soft flannel with elastic waist. I agree, pockets would be a great addition.

Bought them for my whole mah jong group. We all love them! Great design. Great weight. The only thing that could make them any better would be pockets.
Also the customer service person, who helped me get enough pairs when they seemed to be out of stock, was super helpful, personable, and prompt in getting back to me.
