Description

August 2026 - December 2027

Rosh Hashanah is when the Jewish year resets, which makes it the natural moment to start fresh with a new planner. The Executive Jewish Calendar is built for exactly that, keeping Jewish and secular life on the same page from the High Holidays right through the year.

Each month opens to a roomy two-page spread, with plenty of room to map out meetings, deadlines, and family plans alongside the dates that matter. It runs seventeen months, from August 2026 through December 2027, with U.S., Canadian, and Jewish holidays, weekly Torah portions, Hebrew and Gregorian dates, and candle-lighting times for major cities across the U.S. and Canada. The elegant papercut-style cover makes it a fitting New Year gift for a colleague, a parent, or your own desk.

The name joins the founders' youngest children: Madeline's daughter Karen and Judye's son Ben. From Rockville, Maryland, the pair built Kar-Ben into a home for Jewish picture books, earning the Sydney Taylor Book Award committee's Body of Work honor, before Lerner Publishing Group bought the press. It now publishes from Minneapolis and calls itself the largest publisher of exclusively Jewish-themed children's books in the world, covering holidays, life-cycle moments, folktales, Israel and Jewish history. ModernTribe carries Hanukkah and Purim picture books like Golem Loves Latkes and The Queen Who Saved Her People, the My Family Haggadah board book, and the yearly Executive Jewish Calendar.
