Touchwoodesign is a Jerusalem company that designs laser-cut wooden 3D puzzles, educational kits and wall decor. Assaf Goldstein and Ofir Baruochi founded it in 2010. Each kit arrives as a flat wooden board, and the pieces pop out and assemble into a 3D model with no cutting tools or glue. The company says everything is made from natural, environmentally friendly materials that can be easily recycled.
Beside animals, vehicles and famous buildings, Touchwoodesign has a Land of the Bible line with Jewish motifs. ModernTribe has carried the Jewish pieces: a DIY wooden seder plate puzzle and a decorate-your-own version, a pyramid matzah holder, a wooden grogger, a DIY mezuzah and a Seven Species puzzle.
