Description
Some words are meant to be worn close. Pulled from the Song of Songs - that ancient, unabashed biblical poem of love, this sterling silver rectangle carries one of its most tender lines: "I have found the one in whom my soul delights." Raised etched Hebrew on one side, the English translation engraved on the other. It's passion, love, and joy distilled into a single piece - whether it marks a wedding, an anniversary, or simply a soul who has been found.

- Craft
- Hebrew and Kabbalah jewelry
MarLa Studio makes jewelry with an edge and a reason. "None of us has skin thick enough for this world," says MarLa, the artist behind the studio. "We put on some metal and leather and feel transformed." Each piece is handmade in the USA from recycled metals and ships in biodegradable, recyclable packaging, with influences that run from 1970s New York punk to the archaeology of the early Roman Empire.
The Jewish side of the line is its heart. MarLa works in Hebrew and Kabbalah, including a collection built on the 72 Names of God, with prayer excerpts and sayings like "Gam Zeh Ya'avor" (this too shall pass) in Hebrew on one side and English on the other. At ModernTribe you'll find her sterling silver and bronze necklaces and rings, from Hebrew initial signets to "All the World Is a Narrow Bridge," made to wear every day.
