Craft: Printed easy-care table linens

In Spanish, sobremesa is the slow stretch after a meal when the plates are cleared and the conversation keeps going. Sobre Meza named itself after that moment. The brand describes itself as born in Costa Rica with Venezuelan roots, with collections inspired by Latin American gatherings.

Its napkins, placemats and covers are made in Costa Rica and built to survive real meals: the placemats are spill-proof and wipe clean, and the napkins go in the washing machine.

For the Jewish table, Sobre Meza has a proper holiday line. Its pomegranate and beehive prints cover challah covers, placemats and napkins for Rosh Hashanah, and for Passover there are matzah covers with three pockets for the matzot and a matching afikoman bag.
