  • On the day of the Yahrzeit, it is customary to light a 24 Hour Candle at home to honor the memory of the deceased. The Jewish Day begins at night, so the candle should be lit in the evening. Even if the candle burns for longer than twenty-four hours, it should not be extinguished. If the Yahrtzeit falls on a Saturday, the candle must be lit on Friday afternoon before Sunset.

Yahrzeit LED flickering candle

It is beautiful and will stay on until all of the hostages come home. It honors all who lost their lives on October 7th, all the IDF soldiers who have sacrificed their lives, and keeping the hope alive for the hostages.

I had been burning candles every night since October 7, 2023. I do get concerned at night with the flame so now with this love lovely flickering electric device I can keep it glowing day and night until all of the hostages are home every one of them whatever condition they are in we need all our people back.

This yahrzeit light is so attractive - the flickering effect is beautiful !

Lasted for one use, not well made!

I loved it when I got it. Plugged it in and the mirrored flickering candle effect was great! The next day. I tried to pull the USB cord out of the unit and the entire plug assembly, which must have not been glued very well, came out of the candle with the wires and a wire broke inside. Had to toss it in the garbage.

Word to the wise: Just unplug the power adapter from the wall, and DO NOT attempt to remove the plug from the candle itself. Disaster.
