- Embroidered fabric books and toys
Pockets of Learning is a family-owned company that has made handcrafted fabric quiet books, soft toys and wall hangings for more than 35 years. Its books have sturdy cloth pages, bright detailed embroidery, zippered covers and carry handles, designed to keep small hands busy without a screen.
The Jewish Holiday Book walks young children through Hanukkah, Passover, Purim, Rosh Hashanah, Shabbat, Shavuot, Simchat Torah, Sukkot and Yom Kippur, with a parent's guide included. The embroidered Happy Hanukkah Menorah Wall Hanging lets kids "light" a candle each night by attaching a felt flame, and the line has also included soft Aleph Bet nesting blocks and an Alef Bet wall hanging.
