Frequently Asked Questions
What do you bring to a Passover seder?
A Passover seder is a special meal that commemorates the Jewish holiday of Passover. Traditional items to bring to a Passover seder include:
- Item for the Seder Plate: The seder plate is full of symbolic ingredients. Offer to bring matzah, hard boiled eggs or the charoset or another food dish or item. Cant cook? Bring the salt water!
- Wine: Each (legal) guest consumes four glasses of wine during the seder, so you'll need a lot! Ask the host to make sure the wine is in line with their kashrut needs.
- Game or fun tchotchke: Kids at your seder? Bring them a fun Passover game: to keep busy. Or bring a fun tea towel or matzah apron to say thanks to the host!
