Menorah.net

Menorah.net makes giant public menorahs, a business a New Jersey Chabad rabbi began in the 1980s after the Lubavitcher Rebbe urged public Hanukkah lights.

Based: West Orange, New Jersey
Since: 1980s
Craft: Giant public display menorahs

Menorah.net is run by Rabbi Boruch Klar's Lubavitch Center of Essex County in West Orange, New Jersey. In the 1980s Klar heard the Lubavitcher Rebbe speak about lighting menorahs in public places and set out to build them. A philosophy major with no engineering or construction background, he chose aluminum because steel was too heavy and too expensive, and he sold 20 menorahs in the first year. His menorahs have since stood in public squares, office buildings, stadiums, cruise ships and army bases, and his son Moshe joined the family business full-time in 2022.

ModernTribe carries their LED display menorahs: a 12-inch indoor LUX, 6- and 9-foot smart indoor/outdoor models and 9- and 12-foot double-sided Super LUX menorahs.
