Slip-cast porcelain Judaica

Green Judaica was founded by Jared Green in Boulder, Colorado, with a simple idea: make cherished Jewish ritual objects feel even more special. His mission is to make functional art that also carries deep meaning.

Jared trained as a ceramicist, earning a BFA in Art Practices with a ceramics concentration from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2023, and his artist statement is all about how form and color can shape the way a ritual is practiced. His process mixes tech and tradition. Each design is modeled in CAD software and 3D-printed to scale; the print becomes a plaster mold, then a silicone "mold of the mold" for production. The porcelain is slip-cast, sanded, glazed, and fired up to three times, with platinum luster added by hand or by decal for the final firing.

At ModernTribe you'll find his soft blue porcelain kiddush cups, wedding cups, washing cup, mezuzah, candlesticks, yahrzeit holder, honey dish and matzah plate, many lettered in 24k gold or platinum, plus a walnut challah tray and a walnut-and-porcelain seder plate.
