Les Petit Jewels is a Los Angeles fine jewelry line from a mother and daughter, Lynn and Yael. They work in solid 14k gold, making Star of David and Chai necklaces, hamsa pendants, evil eye and signet rings, bracelets and delicate hand chains, all designed and handcrafted in Los Angeles.

It began with one piece, a Magen David necklace small enough to sit quietly against the chest. That necklace became two, then ten, then a full collection. Lynn and Yael see jewelry as a way of saying where you come from and who you are, and they design for women who want to carry that story with them every day.

The brand works with natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds and gemstones. The pieces at ModernTribe range from plain high-polish gold to settings of natural pavé and baguette diamonds; the Solitaire Star of David holds a 1 carat lab-grown diamond, and a few of the evil eyes add a blue sapphire. The scale stays petite, so the Chais and stars layer easily, and every piece is made with the same aim as that first necklace: to mean something, to last and to be passed down.
