Hand-Painted Flowering Vine Original Ketubah by Mickie Caspi
Description
The Flowering Vine Original Ketubah is a true original watercolor, first created by Mickie Caspi in 2002 and recreated only by her own hand. A refined Victorian blue border frames a delicate vine of petite blossoms that gently encircles your vows. The composition is restrained, graceful, and quietly romantic, allowing the words at its center to hold their full weight.
This is not a print. It is hand-drawn and hand-painted on archival Strathmore paper, with depth of color and subtle tonal variation that only original watercolor can achieve. Every line is intentional. Every petal is formed by hand.
Your personalized text is individually calligraphed by Mickie herself in the center of the design. This is not typeset. It is written slowly and precisely, shaped around your names, dates, and chosen wording. Mickie works fluently in both English and Hebrew and has devoted more than three decades exclusively to the art of ketubah creation. That experience shows in the balance of the composition, the confidence of the lettering, and the thoughtful handling of even the smallest details.
Choosing a ketubah is often the first artistic decision a couple makes together. An original like this requires time, focus, and Mickie’s undivided attention to your requests. That is why it stands apart from offset lithographs and giclée reproductions. It is created specifically for you and meant to live in your home as both sacred document and fine art.
