Description

The Jerusalem Ketubah brings together the stories and landscapes that lie at the heart of Jewish heritage. Watercolor illustrations of Jerusalem's ancient walls, the splitting of the sea, and an abundance of blooming florals come together in a design that feels both deeply rooted and full of life.

Printed as a fine art giclée on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Bright paper, this ketubah is made to last; a meaningful piece of art that honors tradition while standing beautifully on its own.

Illustrated ketubahs

Jessica Tamar Deutsch is an artist and illustrator who studied illustration at Parsons. Her studio practice covers fine art, illustration, ketubahs and Judaica, made, as she puts it, to be art you're proud to display in your home and include in your most important life-cycle moments.

Her best-known book is The Illustrated Pirkei Avot (Print-O-Craft Press, 2017), an illustrated take on the classic collection of Jewish ethical teachings.

Her ketubahs are where many couples meet her work. The four at ModernTribe range from the Jerusalem Ketubah, which weaves together landscapes at the heart of Jewish heritage, to the Pomegranate Grove, the calm Green Forest (available with metallic foil), and the Whimsical Blue, which draws on the visual tradition of Persian ketubahs.
