Twine and Love opened in 2020 to make handmade accessories that are beautiful, comfortable and affordable. Then the year took over, and they made face masks for the LAPD, the Los Angeles Fire Department, postal workers and grocery store employees, and when hospitals ran short of scrub caps they made those too.
From the start they promised to donate one product for every three sold, and by their own count more than 400,000 masks and scrub caps went out. The giving has since turned to food security, including 1,000 grocery bags for rural communities in Latin America.
