Studio Yarden is the Judaica studio of artist Yelena Mirchevskaya. Her first ketubah was a gift for a close friend, and it showed her how art can mark life's biggest moments. Years later, during the pandemic, that spark became a business.
Yelena was born in Moscow and raised in Brooklyn, and studied at Parsons School of Design, where she moved from fine art into motion graphics and animation. She now lives in South Florida. Every Studio Yarden piece begins as an original hand-painted watercolor, and she works with archival fine-art papers, fine paints and gold-leaf detailing. The look draws on Mediterranean influences and a clean, minimal style, made for people who feel deeply connected to Jewish culture and home, observant or not.
The studio started with home blessings and grew into ketubahs and other pieces. At ModernTribe you'll find her Birkat Habayit, Eshet Chayil, children's blessing, Shehecheyanu and Asher Yatzar giclée prints in mosaic, azulejo-tile and Jaffa-orange designs, plus a few one-off hand-painted original home blessings.
