Description
Ruth's words to Naomi are among the most powerful declarations of love and loyalty ever spoken. "Where you go, I will go" - a promise to leave everything behind and stand by someone no matter what. This hand-finished pendant carries that ancient commitment in raised Hebrew text on one side and English on the other, oxidized to bring out every detail. It comes with a printed explanation card telling the full story of Ruth and Naomi, making it as meaningful to give as it is to wear.

- Craft
- Hebrew and Kabbalah jewelry
MarLa Studio makes jewelry with an edge and a reason. "None of us has skin thick enough for this world," says MarLa, the artist behind the studio. "We put on some metal and leather and feel transformed." Each piece is handmade in the USA from recycled metals and ships in biodegradable, recyclable packaging, with influences that run from 1970s New York punk to the archaeology of the early Roman Empire.
The Jewish side of the line is its heart. MarLa works in Hebrew and Kabbalah, including a collection built on the 72 Names of God, with prayer excerpts and sayings like "Gam Zeh Ya'avor" (this too shall pass) in Hebrew on one side and English on the other. At ModernTribe you'll find her sterling silver and bronze necklaces and rings, from Hebrew initial signets to "All the World Is a Narrow Bridge," made to wear every day.
