Based: Chicago, Illinois
Since: 1984
Craft: Jewish games and toys

JET, short for Jewish Educational Toys, was founded in 1984 to bring well-made Jewish games, toys and Judaica to the wholesale market at a reasonable cost. Today most of its products are made exclusively for JET, and they turn up in Judaica stores, gift shops and toy stores around the world. Sales and product development run from a Chicago office, with warehousing near Pittsburgh.

The catalog covers board games, card games, matching games, puzzles, plush toys, crafts, dreidels and menorahs. ModernTribe has carried the playful end of it: the Schmear Build-a-Bagel card game, the Kosherland board game, the Jewish Gourmet Chef matching game and a plush challah set with its own velvet cover.
