Description
Some cards get read once and shelved. This one throws a whole Hanukkah party the moment it opens. The bright blue cover teases what's coming with a menorah glowing through a laser-cut window, then unfolds into a full 3D celebration: a nine-flame menorah rising over a festive table dressed in silver linen, tassels, and embroidered Stars of David. Baskets of sufganiyot, warm challah, and goblets of red wine round out the scene, every detail sculpted in paper.
Designers Joe and Katie built it around the togetherness that makes the holiday, the kind of light-and-love evening that echoes across generations of family tables. Hand it to your Hanukkah host, slip it to the relative who always grabs the last sufganiyah, or send it to someone who could use a little brightness this time of year.

Rose and Wise met at the Webb Institute, a naval engineering school, and reconnected at Harvard Business School. On a school trip to Vietnam they discovered kirigami, the art of intricately cut and folded paper, and paired it with the slice-form techniques used to design ships. The result is a card that opens into a small paper sculpture. The Boston company pitched on Shark Tank in 2015 and won investment from Kevin O'Leary, and it now makes pop-up bouquets, light-up cards and more. ModernTribe carries its Hanukkah cards: a gold menorah pop-up, a Menorah Lights pop-up and a Happy Hanukkah card that unfolds into a banner more than three feet long.
