Description

Some things get lost in a move - and some wonderful things get found. In Lost and Found Hanukkah, Nate's beloved menorah has gone missing in his family's recent move, and with the first night just a day away, nothing about his new home feels quite right. Then a trip to the local shop with his two dads leads to another loss: Kugel, the shop's cat. As Nate sets out to bring Kugel home, he discovers that - just like in the story of Hanukkah - what's lost can be made right again.

Written by Joy Preble with warm, expressive illustrations by Lisa Anchin, this sweet and reassuring tale of resilience, rededication, and new beginnings feels like a cozy hug on a winter night.

Chronicle Books was started in 1967 by Phelps Dewey and has stayed independent, now owned by the McEvoy Group and working out of an old maritime machine shop with its own storefront. Its list made names like the Griffin and Sabine series and the Worst-Case Scenario handbooks, and it gives journals and games the same care as books. ModernTribe carries the Hanukkah and Jewish joy end of the catalog: The Art of Jewish Joy craft book, the Construction Site Hanukkah Lights board book, Lost and Found Hanukkah, and Hanukkah puzzles from sister brand Galison.
