Description

In Parashat Vayetze, Jacob rests for the night on his journey to Haran and dreams of a ladder stretching from earth to heaven, filled with angels ascending and descending. When he awakes, he exclaims: “Mah nora ha makom hazeh!” - “How awesome is this place!” That powerful phrase is printed on the back of this tallit, capturing the awe and holiness of unexpected moments. The design imagines Jacob’s ladder not as rough wooden rungs but as glittering, transparent staircases, elegant and ethereal, perfect for angelic travel. The staircases overlap and intertwine, since there are an infinite number of ways to get closer to God.
