Description

Few verses speak to a life in law like Tzedek, tzedek tirdof, "Justice, justice shall you pursue," from Deuteronomy 16:20. This vibrant art print sets that charge at its heart, with the scales of justice rendered in sweeping watercolor and the words carried in both Hebrew and English.

Pomegranates, Stars of David, and ribbons of color fill the frame, turning an ancient call to justice into a piece that feels alive on the wall. It makes a meaningful gift for the attorney or law student in your life, whether you are marking a graduation, a bar passage, a new office, or a swearing-in.

Printed as an archival giclee, the color stays rich and true for over a century when kept out of direct sunlight, so it holds its brilliance for the length of a whole career.

Anna Abramzon Studio

Anna Abramzon is a Soviet-born, Chicago-trained painter whose whimsical Love Tree mezuzahs, painted tallitot and blessings put a Jewish twist on joy.

Painted ketubahs and Judaica

Anna Abramzon paints what she calls soulful, whimsical art with a Jewish twist. Born in the Soviet Union, she came to the United States as a refugee at seven and grew up in Chicago. She couldn't speak English when she arrived, but she could draw, and art became her way of telling stories and making friends. She earned a BFA in drawing and painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

After art school she moved to Jerusalem, where she met her husband, Patricio, and got engaged six days after arriving. Instead of commissioning a ketubah, she painted their own, and a Judaica practice grew from there. Now based in Los Angeles, she makes ketubahs, painted tallitot, mezuzah cases, blessings for the home and art prints. After the North Bay fires in Sonoma and Napa counties, she began replacing ketubahs for people who lost theirs in natural disasters.

At ModernTribe you'll find her Love Tree mezuzahs, including wedding, new baby and lesbian couple designs, personalized home and baby blessings, and painted tallitot like Starry Galaxy and Ocean Waves.
